Adam Jackson joins Newcomb & Boyd’s Consulting Engineering Group as a Mechanical Engineer. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Georgia in December of 2018.
Adam calls Milton, Georgia his hometown and currently resides in Atlanta with his 3-year-old ragdoll cat, Pawblo Escopurr.
In his free time, Adam enjoys playing basketball, woodworking, and cooking. He is also a huge fan of music such as jazz, soul, R&B, and hip-hop and enjoys attending live music events. Adam played the upright bass throughout high school and continues playing electric bass leisurely. He is also passionate about soccer and has even traveled to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to play exhibition matches against the youth clubs in the area, including Flamengo, Botafogo, and Zico Academies.
Although Adam grew up a fan of all Georgia Tech sports, he ended up matriculating at UGA where he was engaged in various campus activities. Adam was part of a team that built a magnetic levitator using analog circuitry during a Feedback Controls course. He was an active member of the ASHRAE Student Club at UGA and is currently a member of ASHRAE Atlanta.
