Shweta joins Newcomb & Boyd as an Electrical Engineer in the Raleigh office. She earned her Bachelor of Engineering, Electrical and Electronics from St. Joseph’s Engineering College in India in 2013, and her Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 2015.

Shweta is originally from Bangalore, India, and currently lives in Raleigh, NC with her husband, Anoop, her 2.5-year-old son, Austin, and a Betta fish named Alpha that she recently got for her son.

The furthest Shweta has been from home is Japan, and her favorite trip was to New Orleans, LA. Her ideal vacation would be visiting either the Maldives or Hawaii.

At the beginning of quarantine, Shweta decided to start a new hobby of baking after being inspired by various Instagram baking accounts and Pinterest posts. Initially, she made 3-ingredient Oreo cupcakes, as well as cupcakes topped with fondant. Eventually, Shweta started experimenting with more difficult baked goods, including making 5 different batches of french macarons, and her own version of a mango drip cake.
