Josh Walker joins Newcomb & Boyd’s Special Technologies Group as a Communications Engineer. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Management degree from DeVry University in 2002. Josh has experience in multi-family, class-A office, and hospitality high rise buildings. He was previously the Managing Director of One Code Technologies, Inc., and the Director of Technology at Landmark Properties, Inc.

Originally from Conyers, Georgia, Josh lives in Buford with his wife, Sarah, and his two stepdaughters, Annabelle (16) and Sophia (12). When he’s not hanging out with his family and dog, Farley, Josh likes to spend time at Lake Lanier, work on cars, and ride motorcycles.

Josh brings 16 years of experience to the firm and began his career in engineering through specializing in building infrastructure. He likes that technology is ever-changing and is interested in all aspects of low voltage systems. He will be taking his RCDD test soon and is looking forward to helping the communications group.
