State of Georgia Judicial Complex

In Design: Acoustics, lighting, security, and court technologies for the seven story State of Georgia Judicial Complex housing the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, and other court agencies and judicial functions. The complex includes parking for 300 cars.

Audio-Visual

Audio, video recording and provisions for future videoconferencing and evidence presentation.

Lighting

Lighting of the main lobby and atrium, lobbies on the courtroom floors, working lobbies of the office floors, the supreme and court of appeals courtrooms and conference rooms, and site and façade lighting.

Security

Security systems including access control and alarm monitoring; video surveillance; pedestrian and package screening including X-ray machines, magnetometers and optical turnstiles for the security checkpoint and loading dock; duress alarms in courtrooms, chambers and reception areas; and vehicle barriers and control of secure gated parking areas for judicial officers and selected staff.
