Greenville Federal Courthouse

A federal courthouse housingone District courtroom, one Magistrate courtroom, office space for the United States Courts, the United States Marshals Service, the United States Probation Office, the Federal Public Defender, the United States Attorney’s Office, and the GSA’s Public Buildings Service. The building will pursue LEED Gold and SITES Silver.

Acoustics

Architectural acoustics, including room acoustics, mechanical and electrical system noise control, and interior airborne sound isolation for a federal courthouse. Acoustical elements meet all the applicable design guidelines including the US. Courts Design Guideline, GSA’s PBS-P-100, and USAO. The complex houses one District courtroom, one Magistrate courtroom, office space for the United States Courts, the United States Marshals Service, the United States Probation Office, the Federal Public Defender, the United States Attorney’s Office, and the GSA’s Public Buildings Service.
