Timothy, who goes by Tim, joins Newcomb & Boyd’s Consulting Engineering Group as a Mechanical Engineer in the Charleston office. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1982.

Tim is originally from Colorado Springs, CO. He currently lives in Charleston, SC after moving from Fairmont, WV. He lives with his wife, Becky, and they have two daughters, Madi (19) and Linsey (24).

In his free time, Tim enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and playing golf and frisbee golf.

The furthest Tim has been from home is St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. His favorite trip was to Myrtle Beach, SC, and his ideal vacation would be to visit Paris, France.

Tim’s first job was an engineer for the U.S. Navy working on surface ships at the former Long Beach Naval Shipyard in California. Most recently, he worked as a senior engineer for a firm in West Virginia.
