Sari Leff, who originally joined the firm in 2019 as a co-op, is now a full-time Mechanical Engineer. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Georgia in 2021.

Sari is originally from Marietta, GA and currently lives in Atlanta with her boyfriend, Carl, and her Boxer Pitbull mix, Tulip.

Her favorite TV show is Game of Thrones and her favorite book is One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. She is a huge podcast junkie and her current favorites are Heavyweight, In the Dark, and Invisibilia.

Additionally, Sari’s hidden talent is designing and making her own clothes. She either makes clothes from scratch or from thrifted or discarded clothing.

The farthest she has been from home is the Middle East, and her favorite trip was touring the National Parks in Southern Utah and Northern Arizona on a road trip. Her ideal vacation would be kayaking the fjords in Norway.

When asked why she decided to become an engineer, Sari states, “I knew from a very early age that I wanted to be an engineer, mostly thanks to mentors and teachers who saw my penchant for creative problem solving and steered me in the right direction. I love engineering because I can combine those problem-solving skills with my love for science and technology to make real improvements on the world around me, while working in an environment that encourages lifelong learning. I’m incredibly grateful to be a part of the growing representation of young women in the engineering field.”
