Saswata Haldar, who goes by Ronnie,  joins Newcomb & Boyd’s Energy and Sustainability Group as a High Performance Energy Modeler. Ronnie earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Jadavpur University, India in May of 2015 and his Master of Science in Built Environment degree from Arizona State University in August of 2018.

Ronnie is from Kolkata, India but now calls Atlanta his home. In addition to English, he is fluent in Bengali and Hindi.

Ronnie’s hobbies include playing guitar, badminton, powerlifting, soccer, watching sci-fi movies and nature documentaries, sketching and painting. The furthest he has been from home is San Diego, California. Ronnie’s favorite vacation was traveling to Zion National Park in Utah.

While in graduate school, Ronnie participated in a group project responsible for designing a living building. He created a conceptual design for a future shared Living Manufacturing Facility to be located on the Resource Innovation Campus, owned by the City of Phoenix. He was also an Energy Audit Assistant for Wells Fargo, Chandler Campus.

He was attracted to Newcomb & Boyd by the excellent quality of work in Energy and Sustainability and how it matched with is career interests.
