Noah Eggleston joins Newcomb & Boyd’s Consulting Engineering Group as a Mechanical Engineer. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree with a minor in Global Development from Georgia Tech in May of 2018. Noah began his career co-oping with Newcomb & Boyd in August of 2015.

As a co-op, Noah spent a lot of time working on the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Mary Ellen Jones Building Renovation, and really enjoyed being able to visit the site and see the construction progress that had been made. When asked about his time as a co-op, Noah said, “I gained so much knowledge about how buildings come to be and the process behind making one, and I also learned a lot about just how much goes into keeping a building functional and everything that goes on inside them that we typically don’t think about.”

Noah is from Dacula, Georgia. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, playing guitar and bass guitar, and traveling. Noah has visited Nicaragua (where he got to feed monkeys!), Thailand, and studied abroad in Japan. His favorite class at Georgia Tech was Hybrid Vehicle Powertrains, where he and a team designed a hybrid vehicle. During college, Noah served as the Lutheran Campus Ministry Activities Coordinator, where he planned events and helped with service and outreach projects.
