Nick Efird joins Newcomb & Boyd’s Consulting Engineering Group as a Plumbing Engineer. Nick began his engineering career as a Co-Op in 2016. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Georgia with his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree in Spring of 2018.

Nick is from Duluth, Georgia. In his spare time, he enjoys any outdoor activity, including boating, softball, baseball, snowboarding, and hanging out at the lake. Nick has a goal of visiting all Major League Baseball stadiums and has visited 14 of the 30 so far. He chose to pursue a career in engineering because he enjoys understanding how things work and trying to solve puzzles.
