Mahsa joins Newcomb & Boyd’s Energy and Sustainability Group as a Sustainability Consultant. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Mazandaran in Iran in 2009. She also earned her Master of Architecture from the University of Massachusetts in 2015, and is expecting to earn her Ph.D. in Building and Construction Technology from the university this month.

Mahsa’s hometown is Amherst, MA and she currently lives in Atlanta with her husband, Hommed.

Her hobbies include playing tennis, watching movies and TV series, swimming, and cooking. Mahsa enjoys listening to podcasts and is currently bingeing Hidden Brain, How I Built This, and Freakonomics.

Mahsa loves traveling and her favorite vacation was when she traveled through Europe. Her ideal trip would be to visit Peru, specifically Machu Picchu.

Prior to Newcomb & Boyd, Mahsa worked as a Construction Manager for an Atlanta-based custom home builder.
