Luke Bumgardner joins Newcomb & Boyd’s Commissioning Group as a Commissioning Engineer. Luke earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Tech in May of 2019.

Luke is originally from Decatur, GA and now lives in Atlanta.

During his free time, he enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, participating in league bowling, and fostering kittens until they are ready for adoption. Luke also plays baseball for two men’s leagues and gives lessons to younger kids throughout Metro Atlanta. His hidden talent is cooking and his go-to meal is shrimp alfredo pasta.

Luke’s favorite trip was spending a week in Barcelona, followed by a week in Paris. Belgium is the furthest he’s been from home. His ideal vacation would be going to a mountain house anywhere. He has also traveled to 48 states, missing only Vermont and Connecticut.
