John Garretson joins Newcomb & Boyd’s Special Technology Group as an Acoustical Consultant. John graduated Summa Cum Laude from Columbia College Chicago with his Bachelor of Arts in Audio Arts and Acoustics, Concentration in Acoustics degree in May of 2011. John has more than six years of experience as an Acoustical Consultant and has previously worked as a Project Consultant for D.I. Adams Associates and an Acoustical Engineer for Aerosonics. 

John, who is originally from Chicago, Illinois, moved to Peachtree City after living in Honolulu for a few years.  In his spare time, John enjoys playing soccer, fishing and spending time at the beach. He is an avid Jeep enthusiast and looks forward to getting a Jeep Wrangler soon to take off-roading.
