Cheryl Perez joins Newcomb & Boyd’s Accounting Department as an Accounting Manager. Cheryl earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Florida in May of 2010.
Originally from Wheeling, West Virginia, Cheryl and her husband, Robert, reside in Alpharetta. They have two daughters, Toni (33) and Krisi (31), and one son, Erik (25). The family also has a three-year-old Labrador named, Ryder, and a seven-year-old cat named, Nina.
Cheryl’s hobbies include hiking, rafting/canoeing, and enjoying the Atlanta area. She considers herself a foodie and has experienced a lot of great food in Atlanta.
The farthest Cheryl has been from home was Tel Aviv, Israel. Her favorite trip was to Key West with her mother, and her most ideal vacation would be to visit Alaska. In fact, if time and money weren’t an issue, her hobby would be traveling.
Prior to Newcomb & Boyd, Cheryl spent twelve years enlisted in the United States Army. Stationed mostly at Fort Dix, New Jersey, she worked as a Staff Sergeant/E6 with HQ 50th Armored Division. Additionally, she was a finance specialist and a drill instructor for Basic Training units at Fort Dix.
