Lighting and commissioning of the courtrooms, public lobby, façade, 750 car parking deck, and landscape of the four story Gregory A. Adams Juvenile Justice Center. The facility houses six courtrooms and thirty inmate holding cells. Additionally, the justice center provides office space for the Public Defender, District Attorney, Probation Department, Court Administrator, Child Advocacy, and Clerk of Courts.

The Atlanta City Court Facility houses ten courtrooms and twelve different law enforcement agencies, and includes a 300 car parking deck. The Atlanta City Court is the second largest, centrally located traffic court in the nation.

A 192 cell, high-maximum security death row facility located on the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison campus. The facility includes a central administration/support area core and two housing units connected by an interior corridor. Each housing unit has three wings containing two levels of cells around a two story dayroom.

The Douglas County Adult Detention and Law Enforcement Center includes 1,488 inmate beds in medium and maximum security areas, inmate kitchen and laundry facilities, an infirmary, and mental health, medical, and clinical space. The center features a 10,250 square foot indoor firing range with twelve 75-foot lanes, a control room, a weapons cleaning room, staff offices and a lobby. The firing range is humidity-controlled and exhaust-filtered for lead residue removal. The facility also accommodates the Sheriff’s office, law enforcement staff, detention administration, and training/support/dispatch areas. Sustainable features include sun shading, daylighting, lighting controls, high efficiency central equipment, reuse of rainwater and extensive use of recycled, environmentally friendly materials.

The Secure Civil Commitment and Treatment Facility for sexually violent predators is a 700 bed medium security facility including open bay housing units, private cells and administrative detention housing, as well as food service facilities, and a medical wing with examination and patient rooms.

The United States Federal Penitentiary is a fourteen building, high security complex with a rated capacity of 960 inmates. The facility includes 768 cells, six general housing units, one special housing unit, one special confinement housing unit, dining and kitchen facilities, health services, laundry facilities, a UNICOR factory, recreation/multiuse facilities, and administrative spaces. The facility also includes a stand-alone central utility plant with 1,000 tons of cooling capacity and three 1,500 bhp steam boilers which provide steam service to both the new facility and the existing United States Penitentiary.

Police headquarters facility with an emergency 911 communications center, emergency operations center, a data center and administrative offices. The building accommodates 180 employees. The intra-jurisdictional emergency communications center features sixty computer work stations, eight team discussion rooms with audio and videoconferencing capabilities, and a high-definition video wall to display vital information regarding an incident. The facility operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and staff are responsible for answering emergency and non-emergency calls and dispatching police, fire, and emergency medical units. Daylighting offsets high energy loads resulting from 24-hour building operation.
