Mahsa joins Newcomb & Boyd’s Energy and Sustainability Group as a Sustainability Consultant. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Mazandaran in Iran in 2009. She also earned her Master of Architecture from the University of Massachusetts in 2015, and is expecting to earn her Ph.D. in Building and Construction Technology from the university this month.

Anastasiya Smurygina joins Newcomb & Boyd’s Consulting Engineering Group as an Electrical Engineer with the Raleigh office. She earned her Bachelor and Master of Science in Electronics Engineering from Moscow Power Engineering Institute in Moscow, Russia in 2009 and 2011, respectively. She also earned a Master of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2012.
