Dalton joins Newcomb & Boyd’s Consulting Engineering Group as an Electrical Engineer in the Charleston office. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Citadel in May of 2015.

Dalton is originally from Tool, TX and currently lives in North Charleston, SC with his wife, Tessa, and two pets, a two-year-old Dachshund named Drax (the destroyer), and a three-year-old tabby cat named Barnaby.

In his free time, Dalton enjoys powerlifting, mountain and trail bicycle riding, and woodworking. According to his wife, he has a hidden talent for pumpkin carving/sculpting. If time and money weren’t an issue, he would pursue auto racing.

While in college, Dalton was responsible for managing cadets and held various leadership roles, such as Company Cadre Squad Sergeant and Company Athletic Officer. During his senior year, he participated in an Intelligent Ground Vehicle competition, where his team created a three-wheeled vehicle to autonomously move from one GPS waypoint to another.
