Arturo Garcia joins Newcomb & Boyd’s Consulting Engineering Group as an Electrical Engineer. He graduated from Kennesaw State University where he was a Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholar and was on both the Dean’s and President’s List. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from KSU in December of 2018.

Arturo hails from Stamford, Connecticut and now calls Marietta, Georgia home, where he lives with his 10-year-old cat, Lucy.

During his free time, Arturo loves exercising, playing soccer, hiking, and playing the guitar, a hobby he started at 12 years old.

He is a first-generation college graduate and is a member of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. While in college, Arturo was an active member of the Peach State Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation, a Georgia program that seeks to increase the number of minorities pursuing STEM degrees. As a member, he helped tutor mathematics at a local elementary school and led a small study group.
