Golden Bund Financial Center

A mixed-use complex including a fifty-five story office tower, a thirty-two story residential apartment tower, and a 500 suite Westin hotel located in the historic Bund District of Shanghai. Common to the three towers and located at the base are restaurants, a health club, a swimming pool, retail shops, and three levels of underground parking. Three basement levels accommodate hotel back-of-house facilities, sewage and water treatment plants, electrical substations, engine-generator sets, a chiller plant, fire pump room, and parking for cars and bicycles.


Audio-visual systems for the financial center include a public address system providing background music distribution, a separate paging zone on each floor of the retail area, all call capability for public areas on the lower levels of the complex, as well as a satellite and master antenna television system with satellite antennas, antenna headend equipment, and cable distribution system.


Communications systems, including horizontal and vertical cable tray and raceway systems for voice, data, and video cabling.

Fire Protection

Fire protection includes fire alarm, sprinkler, and fire hose systems.


Recipient of the Highly Recommended Certificate, Specialized Category, FIABCI Prix d’Excellence from the International Real Estate Federation, 2004; First Prize in Design Excellence of Shanghai Construction Projects from the Shanghai Prospecting and Design Association, 2003; and the Magnolian Award from the Shanghai Construction Industry Association, 2002.
