Charlotte County Justice Center Court Technology and Security Systems

Court technology and security systems for the renovation of the Charlotte County Justice Center, a five story building interconnected with a three story building. The facility houses Circuit and County Courts, Court Administration, Clerk of Courts, State Attorney, Public Defender, Sheriff’s Civil Office and Court Security, as well as Jury Assembly, Law Library, and waiting areas. Court technology systems include sound systems, audio recording, evidence presentation, and videoconferencing. Security elements include upgrade of the electronic security systems, including video surveillance systems, intrusion detection, duress systems, alarm monitoring, access control, security intercom, and metal detection and X-ray screening systems. Additionally, consultation on space requirements and clearances for security systems for the enlarged Security Pavilion at the Ground Floor between Buildings A and B, as well as enhancement of the site security and the security perimeter at the ground floor of Building B.
