The twelve story Infectious Diseases Research Support Building is an office building located on the Roybal campus of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, providing space for 1,100 public health professionals. In addition to open office space, the building includes a large divisible conference room on the entry level, and a snack bar. Sustainable features include an energy recovery unit, demand controlled ventilation (CO2 monitoring), zone thermostatic control, optimum start control, off-hour controls, a waterside economizer, fan system power limitation, daylighting, low density lighting, and lighting controls.
